TOTALLY AND PERMANENTLY DISABLED PERSONNEL (TPI)
Ex - Service personnel who receive a "Special Rate" Pension from the Department of
Veterans Affairs are eligible for National Fleet Discount. The Special Rate pension is also known as a TPI Pension. The TPI Pension is payable as compensation to ExService personnel who have been classified as Totally or Permanently Incapacitated as a result of War or Defence caused injuries or disease. Recipients of the TPI pension are eligible to purchase vehicles GST free. Vehicle must have private registration to be eligible and be registered in the same name as the TPI pensioner.
